BRAHAM Electrical has been named as the Electrical Contractor of the Year (Medium).

The judging panel praised the company's ability to complete complex projects by adapting to the requirements of the client.

The company's entry showcased this perfectly by highlighting Braham Electrical's work on the new Strabane Jobs and Benefits Offices.

Overcoming many technical and functional design issues, Braham Electrical played an integral role in this Design and Build project alongside contract partners Glasgivan Contracts and ISD.

The electrical installation comprises some of the highest end installation to protect both staff and the general public. This includes 100% CCTV coverage linked to a panic alarm system, integrating with panic rooms, wireless pendants and time synchronisation.

Functionality for staff was also enhanced with a state-of-the-art queue management system, desk tablets and bespoke kiosk and ticketing machines - the first of its kind across all social security offices in Northern Ireland.

The project also including public TV and audio systems daylight controlled lighting; video conferencing; and multiple DDA add-ons to ensure the building was accessible to all.

The focus on the initial design stages ensured this prestigious building was handed over on time and defect free and stands as the perfect example of Braham Electrical's high standards.
