Whitecross shock Corrinshego A thumbnailOíHANLONíS of Whitecross defeated Corrinshego A to put a huge dint in their Division One Championship hopes. TB6410

Division One.
Whitecross 5. Corrinshego A 3.

O'HANLON'S dealt a maasive blow to Corrinshego A's hopes of winning the Division One title when they defeated them 5-3 on Thursday evening.
The Whitecross side led 4-1 with Corrinshego pulling back a couple of frames to make it 4-3. But O'Hanlon's did the needful in the final frame to secure victory and hammer a crucial nail into Corrinshego title aspirations. O'Hanlon's: Cathal Phelan, Mickey Feenan, Sean Phelan, Gareth McCann and Brian O'Neill. Corrinshego: Paddy Tavey, Karl McGuinness and Tommy Mooney.

TJ's A 5 Bosco 3.

BUT there was just no stopping the TJ's A train as it hurtled towards the winning post. The city centre side, reigning champions, rattled off the first four wins on the spin against Bosco, lost one but snapped up the points in the sixth frame. And with TJ's having just one game left and two points in front of Corrinshego A, a betting man would put his money on the city side reclaiming the title. TJ's: Jack Courtney, Declan McMahon, Declan Brennan, Manny Byrne and Tristan Byrne. Bosco: Sean McCaul, Anthony Morgan and Philip Murphy.

Killeavy 2 McGuigan's A 6
McGUIGAN'S A maintained their push to claim the Division One runners-up spot with a 6-2 victory over Killeavy. The south Armagh side were in contention after five frames but the Monaghan Street Macs took the last three to, in the end, run out comfortable winners. Killeavy: Mark Shevlin and Stephen Murphy. McGuigan's: D Kearney, C McCoy, B Campbell, B Healy, K Moan and G McGuigan.

Sheepbridge 5 Carrickcruppen 3
CARRICKCRUPPEN won the first frame but rivals Sheepbridge then powered to the line by winning the next five. Cruppney won the last couple but they were mere consolations. Sheepbridge: Connor O'Hare, Louis Loughran, Barry Duffy, Gwyn Trainor and Donal McSherry. Carrickcruppen: Barry McAlister, Marty McCone and Marty Lavelle.

St Cath's 7 Hockey Club 1
ST Cath's eased to the line with a huge 7-1 result over the Hockey Club and their scorers were Eugene McKibben, Martin Hughes, Mark Pentony, Kieran Morgan, Adrian O'Hanlon, Kieran Morgan (senior) and Kieran Cummins. Richard Taylor was a lone Hockey winner.

Division Two
Cavern A 5 Orchard Bar 3
THE Orchard Bar led 3-2 against Cavern A but the Church Street side won the last three frames to snap up the Division Two points and leave themselves in with a shout of taking the runners-up spot in the table.
Cavern: Paudie Kelly, Conor Cunningham, Ruairi Devlin, Shane McVerry and Chris Marley. Orchard: Brendan Devlin, Collie Rooney and Mervyn Kernaghan.

Dan's C 5 Quayside Rams 3
DAN'S C and Quayside Ramblers were all square at three frames apiece but the Camlough Road team won the last couple to pocket the points. Dan's: Seamus McVerry, Gerard Hughes, Jimmy McVerry, Martin Maguire and Barry Boyle. Rams: P Pearce, Malachy Maguire and Robbie Rice.

Division Three
Moore's A 6 St Monnina INF 2
JOHN Moore's A jumped to joint top spot in a fiercely contested race for the Division Three Championship. The team from the city centre lost the opening frame to St Moninna INF but thereafter looked the business as they won six from the remaining seven. Moore's: Gareth Treanor, Conor McCartan, Damian Woods, Aidan Griffin, B Murphy and Mark Fleming. Saints: P Hughes and D Mackin.

McGuigan's B 3 Boyd's 5
McGUIGAN'S lost a great opportunity to go two points in front of the chasers in Division Three but they lost out to relegation-haunted Boyd's. The sides were level at the halfway stage but the Stream Street team won three from the last four to secure victory. McGuigan's: Gary Carroll, Keith Gilbraith and Danny McGuigan.
Boyd's: Jamie Fletcher, Kris Fletcher, Richard Fletcher, Jeremy O'Brien and Jim Boyd.

Millvale Arms 1 Indo B 7
INDO B boosted their hopes of winning the Division Three title when they lowered the colours of one of the Championship favourites Millvale Arms. And it was no fluke result either as the Boat Street team cruised to a 7-1 win. Millvale: Stephen Weir. Indo: Mark Cahill, Colm Cahill, John McClorey, James O'Hagan, Brendan Bell, Paul Campbell and Collie McLoughlin.

Division Four
CWC B 7 Glenn Social Club 1
WITH Ballyholland Harps already established as Division Four Champions, only the runners-up spot is up for grabs. And thus CWC B gave themselves a great boost by defeating Glenn Social Club 7-1. The GAA club won the first frame but thereafter things went steadily downhill with the Working Men winning the remaining seven.
CWC: PJ Gilmore, Tommy Rooney, Brian McGeough, Kieran Cunningham, Paul Kelland, Gerard Mackey and Gerard Cunningham. Glenn: Ronan Morgan.

Corrinshego C 6 Moore's B 2
CORRINSHEGO C won the first four frames with Moore's B pulling a couple back. But it wasn't enough with Corrinshego taking the last couple for victory. Corrinshego: Liam Bradley, Danny Cinnamond, Sean Bradley, Ronan O'Reilly, Brendan Fitzpatrick and Shane McVerry. Moore's: Niall McElligott and Peter Trainor.

TJ's D 3 Ballyholland Harps 5
CHAMPIONS Ballyholland Harps show no signs of easing off and they grabbed another couple of points at the expense of TJ's D, who by the way were level at the halfway stage. TJ's: Sean Casey, Jennifer McQuillan and Niall McQuillan. Harps: Brendan Keenan, Davy McEvoy, Marty O'Hare, Jim McMahon and Anthony Campbell.
