SOUTHERN Regional College students have recently won big at the Ulster Tae Kwon Do Championships.

Joe McKeown won bronze in the Adults Advanced Sparring Section in the Championship.

McKeown is from Silverbridge and he studies the UU Foundation Degree in Applied Medical Sciences at the Newry Campus. Ross Boyle won gold in the Adults Beginner Sparring Section. Boyle is from Camlough and he studies BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport and Exercise Science, also at Newry Campus.

Both boys will be representing SRC in Tae Kwon Do at next year's All-Ireland College Championship.
