Rock 'n' Roll for SGR

Tuesday, 22 May 2018

WELL done to all the Slieve Gullion Runners at the Rock 'n' Roll Liverpool Marathon, Half Marathon and 5K events over the weekend.

Two of the SGR team, Tina Crawley and Shirley Ruddy, were just glad to even get to the starting line after a hectic trip to Liverpool after flight delays.

However, they still managed to put in amazing times with little sleep and true grit.

SGR David Rushe did not only take on the Half Marathon but took on the 5K event the day before coming home with two bits of great bling.

All the SGR team came home with great times and done the whole area proud.
