THE USPCA held their annual fun day recently at their base in Carnbane.
The well-attended event was an opportunity for the charity to showcase the fantastic work they do to help animals.
The USPCA was overwhelmed by the support shown from local businesses, vendors and supporters who attended the event.
Thankfully the rain stayed away which kept tails wagging and allowed visitors to relax and soak up the buzzing atmosphere. A great time was had by all, and the animal residents surly enjoyed all the visitors!
Colleen Tinnelly, Development Manager for the charity, stated, “The open day was a huge success and fantastic to see so many visitors on the day.
“We are so grateful for all the support shown to us, from donations of raffle prizes to those who made baked goods to sell on the day.
“During the day we had a dog show with categories such as ‘Best Rescue’, Animal Hospital Tours, PSNI Dog Display, stalls, bouncy castles, ice cream vans and more. It was heart-warming to see the whole community come out and support us.”
“Thank you to all our amazing volunteers and thank you to our supporters, without you all, we simply could not exist.”
