WARRENPOINT Town suffered a dramatic defeat in the BetMcLean League Cup on Tuesday night at the hands of Dungannon Swifts.
There were just 90 seconds of extra time left when Seanan Clucas scored to fire the holders through to the quarter-finals.
Jarlath O'Rourke had put the Swifts ahead in the first half but a stoppage time strike before the break from Philip Donnelly leveled the scores.
Anto Reilly turned the ball into his own net to give the visitors the advantage in the second period but a wonder strike by Donnelly forced extra time. However, it wasn't to be for Stephen McDonnell's men.
Newry Democrat Sports Editor Steve Malone spoke to the Warrenpoint boss at full time. Press play to hear what he had to say, and read a full report from the game in Tuesday's Democrat.
