ARMAGH GAA unveiled their new home jersey at a launch night on Thursday in O’Neill’s Store, Craigavon.

Official team sponsors Simplyfruit and mac-group have renewed their sponsorship deal with Armagh GAA and will continue their contribution in support of teams for both football and hurling from U17 level through to senior.

Armagh GAA Chairperson Mickey Savage said: “On behalf Armagh GAA I would like to sincerely thank Simplyfruit, mac-group and O’Neills for their continued support and contribution to the future of GAA in the county.

“Providing the right structures and environment for our young players to participate and flourish requires significant investment.

“Through these long standing partnerships, we can continue to build on work already done and progress all aspects of the GAA in Armagh.

“Simplyfruit have been a proud sponsor of Armagh GAA for over ten years, initially as Orchard Academy Sponsor and in the last three years as official jersey sponsor. Simplyfruit has grown significantly in recent years into the largest manufacturer of fresh cut fruit products in Ireland.

“We are extremely grateful to Patrick McCann and his company for this extension to the long-term partnership between Simplyfruit and the GAA in Armagh which will enable the county to invest in the players of today and tomorrow.”

Simplyfruit Managing Director Patrick McCann said: “Simplyfruit are delighted to extend the strong relationship that we have developed with Armagh GAA and we look forward to seeing all the hard work and commitment of our county board, management teams and players being rewarded with great success both on and off the field in the coming years.”

Established in 2002, mac-group is a specialist contractor in the construction, refurbishment and fit-out of commercial office buildings.

It has offices in Newry, Dublin, London and Birmingham and employs a direct workforce of more than 130 construction professionals.

Armagh GAA is much appreciative of the ongoing invaluable support from Paul McKenna and his team at mac-group.

CEO Paul McKenna said: “Mac-group have a long history of supporting charities and forward-thinking sporting organisations in line with our corporate social responsibility policy and it is envisaged that our partnership with Armagh GAA will further develop the GAA in the county.

“We look forward to a long and fruitful relationship.”

O’Neill’s Sports are again the official supplier of team-wear to Armagh GAA.

The new 2019 Armagh GAA home Jersey will be on sale from O’Neill’s Sports and O’Neills’ retail partners, but one lucky reader can win the jersey by answering a question correctly and sending it in to the Newry Democrat.
