BID Flood Relief

The Newry BID team is on the ground this assisting members with flood alleviation. CEO Eamonn Connolly stated: “We have been hit extremely hard overnight but please be assured that we will work together as a business community to recover from this.

Newry BID has secured additional sand bags for members which are due to arrive later today. These will be allocated on an emergency basis to those businesses most at risk.

NIE is urging people not to go to premises pending further safety updates but if you do, it will be at your own risk. BID has canoes available if required to access premises. We have also spoken to local politicians about compensation claims and will be pursuing this when we emerge from this.
