TAG thank 'Point bowlers

TAG (The Active Group) thanks the Warrenpoint Bowling Club for their very kind generous donation from their Presidents Day which will be used to provide activities and outings for its members.

Each year Warrenpoint Bowling Club host an evening of bowling for TAG (The Active Group), it has become an annual event which is thoroughly enjoyed. Mr Eamonn Cole President of the club presented the cheque to Catherine Haughian and TAG members at their annual visit to the bowling green on Wednesday 5th June 2024.

TAG is a social group for adults with learning disabilities which was established by a group of parents in 2002 and is a registered charity.

Our vision is to promote the social inclusion and improve the quality of life of young adults with a mild/moderate learning disability by providing them with opportunities to develop to their full potential and to help make their future as bright and independent as possible.

The group meet every alternate Wednesday evening to enjoy activities such as archery, arts and crafts, yoga, line dancing and courses such as cookery. Members also enjoy a Saturday outing occasionally to places such as Craigavon ski slope and foot golf followed by dinner at The Sheepbridge on the way home.
