THE Two Castles Boxing Club, Newtownstewart, once again delivered in Dublin as both their contestants in last Saturday's Junior One National Championships semi-finals won through to next weekend's finals.
First up was Conan McSorley who beat a tall Munster opponent on all the judges cards in every round.
Conan boxes the reigning champion from Wexford next Saturday.
Next in was Ronan McBrearty, who won via a split decision (4/1), again versus Munster.
Ronan boxes a multiple Irish champion and European medallist in his final.
Next weekend will be the club's 50th Irish final with 35 boxers crowned champion since its formation in 2012.
Club president, Paul Mayse, gave a glowing tribute to his fellow committee members, commenting on their unwavering dedication and commitment.
He also stated how proud he was of a small town like Newtownstewart continuing to compete at the very highest level in Irish sport, despite numbers in the club being very low at the moment.
Paul extended his best wishes to both boys for the finals.
